Learn how to build a guitar at your own pace

If you are a guitar player interested in lutherie, this course will help you build a simple guitar that you can truly claim as your own. Adam Chan will guide you through building four distinct phases: the guitar body, guitar neck, finishing and setting up. You will simultaneously learn woodworking techniques and how to safely handle tools such as saws and chisels. While the sessions are fully supervised, expect to be the one doing the hands-on work. You can choose between two simplified guitar shapes, S1 or S7, and woods handpicked for easier handling, such as okoume, monkeypod and mahogany. While a guitar takes around 16 to 18 days to complete, you have the freedom to proceed at your own pace. Simply make an appointment and show up at the workshop until your masterpiece is complete.
