Wiener Silber Manufactur, founded in 1882, represents a piece of Vienna’s cultural identity. For more than 130 years, it has been supplying members of the imperial family and the Vienna aristocracy with silver tableware and flatware. Over the years, the company introduced revolutionary tableware and developed a range of products that became true classics of silver design, combining unique design with superior craftsmanship. All the creations of the Wiener Silber Manufactur are made of an alloy with 940/000 silver content that is more valuable than sterling silver and has greater resistance to tarnishing.
The entire collection of cutlery sets and silver tableware are all meticulously crafted in Vienna, using traditional silversmith methods. In order to create timeless objects, Wiener Silber Manufactur have always collaborated with the most talented and famous artists and designers of its time. The manufacturer keeps in its archive a collection of more than 11,000 original drawings by famous artists and designers, which are the source for the reedition of iconic masterpieces from the 20th Century.
