Homo Faber 2026 is curated by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship, a private, international, non-profit Foundation based in Geneva, Switzerland, which champions contemporary craftspeople worldwide with the aim of promoting a more human, inclusive and sustainable future.
Established by Johann Rupert and Franco Cologni, guided by the belief that human hands will always possess the unique ability to create meaningful objects, the Foundation facilitates connections between creative artisans and a conscious clientele by enabling them to discover the creations and workshops of artisans and craft entities across the world. The curation of Homo Faber 2026 has been made possible by collaborating with the Foundation’s network of like-minded organisations and its craft experts located in different countries across the world.
