Vetrerie di Empoli is a historic atelier in the production of artistic tableware glass, specialising in the grinding and hand-decoration of glass and crystal. The business was founded in 1938 in Empoli, Tuscany and it was initially dedicated to the production of the typical local green glass. Today Vetrerie di Empoli is based in Milan and is run by the third generation of the Parentini family, together with a small team of skilled artisans. Over the years, production has evolved into elegant and sophisticated products inspired by Tuscan and Italian culture and craftsmanship traditions.
Today Vetrerie di Empoli embellishes the tables of a refined clientele of illustrious families and international hotels, to whom it offers both classic lines and modern design services as well as customisation and restoration services. The eclectic creativity of Vetrerie di Empoli's team has given shape to some emblematic lines protected by an international patent, such as the ‘gira e rigira’ tasting goblet or the ‘ikebana’ goblet, presented during Homo Faber 2024.
