Founded in 2017 in Odesa by Oleksandra Rudenko and Yuriy Vovnyanko, Ruda Studio creates beautiful household items using straw marquetry. It is a contemporary decorative collective with an Art Deco aesthetic compass and a strong commitment to artful visual forms. The element of Ukrainian heritage is very important to Ruda Studio’s essence. The atelier uses traditional artisanal techniques to reinterpret elements of the folklore of different regions of the country in its objects.
