A candle-lit sensory journey
LaSpezieria was founded by Alessandra Lara Fabris, in an old country kitchen in the Venetian countryside, driven by her deep passion for natural candles. With time, her home-based practice evolved into study and research. Alessandra attended courses and deepened her knowledge of techniques and materials, with a special focus on natural candles made with eco-friendly ingredients, such as soy wax and natural fragrances from certified suppliers.
At LaSpezieria, each scent is designed to evoke personal memories and emotions, which turns every candle into a sensory journey. The wax is slowly melted at controlled temperatures, and the fragrances are precisely blended, carefully poured and naturally left to cool. Each piece is finished by hand with attention to shape and wick placement. At LaSpezieria, Alessandra also runs a botanical perfumery course and a candle making workshop for children.
