La Maison du Vitrail

Atelier
Stained glass maker

A beacon in stained glass mastery

Since its establishment in 1973 by Philippe and Christiane Andrieux, the motto of La Maison du Vitrail has remained unchanged: "Drawing from the past to shape the future." Today, this family-run business is led by their daughter, Emmanuelle Andrieux, a highly demanding and talented master glassworker. Located in the heart of Paris, La Maison du Vitrail is dedicated to the preservation and making of stained glass. It serves as both a workshop where artisans perpetuate ancient craftsmanship and an exhibition space showcasing both modern and antique stained-glass artworks.

The atelier has undertaken restoration projects such as the Galeries Lafayette Dome and the glass roof of the Hôtel Vernet in Paris. These projects are carried out by skilled teams who adhere to traditions and unparalleled expertise. The significant contributions of the Maison du Vitrail to the evolution of stained glass art have earned it recognition from official, public, and private organisations worldwide. It continues to shine as a beacon of tradition, creativity and excellence in the world of stained glass.
