Bringing bronze into the modern day

Founded in 1963 in the heart of Florence, Il Bronzetto is an internationally renowned company specialised in brass and bronze products, with 26 artisans working in-house. The founder Antonio Calcinai along with his sons Simone and Pierfrancesco and their cousin Michelangelo have inherited the secrets of an ancient craftsmanship, that they are updating through the use of modern techniques and machinery, such as 3D printing and numerical control milling.

Il Bronzetto has five separate brands offering a wide range of objects in different styles, both classic and contemporary. The collections include lamps, furnishing and bathroom accessories, mirrors, tools for fireplaces and door handles. The manufacture ranges from the replica and reinterpretation of traditional shapes to a bespoke service conceived to help designers and architects realise their visions. They also produce handcrafted luxury ornaments and decorative pieces.
