Founded by David Roma in 1999, Atelier Roma provides exclusive know-how in decorative painting, offering a wide palette of one-of-a-kind textures to sublimate interior spaces. The exceptional wall decors they thoughtfully create on demand are mainly intended for architects and interior designers. The workshop’s expertise covers gold and silver gilding, painting, lacquering, restoration and extends to joinery work. Kazus is their designer furniture line, in which they further experiment with very innovative finishings, made of resin, natural pigments and marble powder. The development of these new processes allows each of their creation to reveal the depth and subtlety of colour.
The expression of colour is at the heart of Atelier Roma’s approach. Among the various projects the team of craftspeople has worked on over the years are a number of creative collaborations with major names such as Laura Gonzalez (Hôtel St James Paris) and Festen (Hôtel Balzac Paris). Within the diversity of their work, the importance of gesture forms the core of Atelier Roma's practice.
