Founded in 1720 and surviving two major floods, the Florence-based Filistrucchi atelier is a unique reference point in the matter of wigs. Specialising in the making of an accessory used in diverse ways over the centuries, Filistrucchi has partnered with grand theatres, and been involved in the world of cinema and television for generations. Today, the workshop collaborates with leading directors and actors to create make-up and special effects for the screen, as well as with important wax museums for which it creates beards, moustaches and faithful hairstyles of historical figures.
