At Homo Faber 2026, Dolce&Gabbana presents a mini bustier dress made with traditional basketry techniques in handwoven rattan. The work showcases a sculptural cage design, that references Sicilian basket forms called the panieri, layered over a lace bodysuit. Balancing strength and refined aesthetics, the piece is a nod to the ancient craft of basketry, to the interlacing of natural fibres, to lightweight structures and shapes.
