Victor Cadène creates rich, maximalist works by assembling his intricate paper drawings into collages. His vibrant compositions depict imaginary landscapes where nature reclaims its rights over statue-like human figures. "I intend my works to be an ode to contemplation," shares Victor. In 2023, creating a large-scale mural marked a creative turning point in his journey, reviving his interest in mythological themes. This shift to a grander scale allowed him to adapt paper techniques to ancestral decorative arts, such as Aubusson tapestry and volcanic stone enamelling. Victor works on collaborations with major luxury houses, including Orient Express, Diptyque and Hermès.
