The art and colour of time
April H. is a high-concept haute horlogerie house founded in France in 2024 by childhood friends Adrien Slaby and Nissane Halal, who share a passion for magnificent timepieces. The house creates unique works celebrating people's emotional relationship with time and engages directly with clients to incorporate personality and memory into its designs. April H. emphasizes national artisanal excellence by collaborating with French master craftspeople across disciplines, from glassblowing and straw marquetry. The pair have a project underway to create a watchmaking complication fully designed and crafted in France for the first time in over two centuries.
The house's Equus watch won the Coup de Coeur prize at the Union de la Bijouterie Horlogerie awards in 2025. Over the coming year, April H. continues its series of unique timepieces associated with each month. A new masterpiece entitled Altitude is expected to be unveiled on France's Fête de la Musique day in June 2026.
