Course on lathe turning in Turin

Learn the basis of ceramics with this workshop dedicated to lathe turning. Guided by ceramicist and artist Fabio Ciancaglini, you will try your hand at shaping clay, creating a few simple objects like mugs, pots and bowls. Fabio will also show you his signature technique: a combination of the wheel for shaping and hands for forming, which gives his own objects their peculiar style and character. The course is intended both for absolute beginners and intermediate/advanced students who wish to improve their skills. The subject and level of each lesson will be discussed in advance and personalised on demand. All materials are included. The course is organised as 4 weekly lessons, each lasting 2 hours.
