Silver feathers

This piece by Buccellati was handcrafted from extremely thin silver sheets, which were frayed and carefully applied to a plaster mould to create a highly realistic feathered surface. Typical of the Furry collection, originally conceived by Gianmaria Buccellati in the 1960s, this artisanal technique is still one of the most original expressions of the Maison’s silversmithing artistry.
