These vessels by Sara Bergami were coil built from clay, and glazed before high-temperature firing. N024 pays tribute to Pope Francis through the inscription of his reflection, “You will discover that happiness is not having a perfect life.” The words, impressed with metal stamps, are almost imperceptible beneath the glaze, like a memory embedded within the material. N028 celebrates the quiet strength of organic, feminine forms. Soft, earthy tones and fluid contours evoke a beauty that feels instinctive rather than ornamental, shaped by imperfection, time and the human hand.
