Silver meets gold: the variety of decorative silverwork

UK-based artist Jessica Jue explores the sculptural possibilities of silversmithing, focusing on hammer work and large-scale sculptural pieces. During the live demonstration at Homo Faber 2026, Jessica will present several techniques used in her creations, such as Korean keum-boo, chasing and repoussé, showing visitors how metal surfaces can be transformed through the application of gold, hammering and relief work.
