©Lukas LienhardNerikomi: pattern built in clay
22/09/2026 | 25/09/2026Esposto in A FULL MOON RISING
Swiss artist Laurin Schaub creates functional porcelain objects through a deconstructed approach to traditional forms. During the live demonstration at Homo Faber 2026, Laurin will create a vase using the nerikomi technique. Coloured clay will be rolled, cut and joined to build a pattern, and the resulting panels will be assembled into a plaster mould. Once dry, visitors will be able to appreciate the patterned three-dimensional piece.
