The Homo Faber Summit takes place from 16 to 18 September 2026 at Fondazione Giorgio Cini on San Giorgio Maggiore Island in Venice, on the premises of Homo Faber 2026: An Island of Light. During the Summit, all panels take place at the conference hall Lo Squero. All lunches are at the restaurant La Vela. The opening reception is at the Garden Café.

Free shuttles depart every 30 minutes between San Marco-San Zaccaria (Pier B1) and San Giorgio Maggiore Island, starting from 7:30 for Summit attendees. Public transportation is also available to San Giorgio from San Marco-San Zaccaria (Pier B. Vaporetto n°2), from Santa Lucia train station (Vaporetto n°2), and from Marco Polo Airport (Alilaguna blue line).

The Summit is free of charge.

The welcome reception, networking lunches, programme, and shuttles to/from the island are included. Travel to and from Venice and accommodation in Venice are at the guest’s expense.
