Sculpting glass at miniature scale

Italian artist Simone Crestani specialises in lampworking transparent borosilicate glass, with imaginative forms inspired by the natural world. During the live demonstration at Homo Faber 2026, Simone will use an experimental lampworking technique to create miniature octopuses and bubbles in transparent glass. Designed to decorate a watch dial, the tiny elements reveal how a technique usually associated with larger glass forms can be adapted to an exceptionally small scale.
