Micromosaic: painting with glass

Italian artist Roberto Grieco specialises in the traditional Roman micromosaic technique developed in the 18th century. During the live demonstration at Homo Faber 2026, Roberto will use traditional manual tools to assemble miniature glass tesserae into intricate compositions. Visitors will discover how this historic technique can be applied to contemporary objects, from watches to decorative pieces.
