X-XY (chromosomes)

This wall-mounted brass sculpture, with intricate carvings and a white patina, is reminiscent of a discovered prehistoric necklace. Co-created with the formicidae family of insects, its design questions historical objectivity and our ability to shape the future. The patina is by Bruno Altmayer-Henzien in Saint-Denis, France.
