Ecume, black and teal

This is a standing sculpture in black and teal coloured porcelain, with translucent enamel on the inside, and a matte porcelain biscuit on the outside. Shaped like a vertical egg, the piece is cut on two-thirds of its surface with about a hundred holes of various sizes, culminating in a 'Splash! Dynamic' water crown at the top of the piece. With rising aquatic bubbles forming a water's edge foam, the piece evokes the intangible and ephemeral.
