Snow and soil

The main inspiration for this hand blown glass sculptural work is the changing landscapes in Latvia. This piece is particularly influenced by the winter landscape as spring approaches, creating an increasing contrast between snow and soil. The contrasts in the glass sculpture are accentuated by the insertion of graphite and melted fabric.
