Wonders of the receding tide

This shell, carved using the ancient art of glyptic, exists in a dual state. Worn as a necklace, it can also be released from its setting and displayed on its pedestal as a sculptural object. Inspired by the ephemeral traces left by the receding tide, it invites the wearer to free the jewel from the body, allowing it to exist between adornment and contemplation.
