Leopard portrait

This pendant features the portrait of a leopard carved from smoky quartz using the ancient art of glyptic. A grey mother-of-pearl doublet beneath the stone creates the animal's distinctive rosettes, while the engraved gold bail echoes the pattern, extending the motif throughout the piece.
