Rhythm of Stone

This lacquered wheel thrown zisha clay vase has a broad body and narrow mouth. Tile ash is modelled in relief on the surface, then coated with dozens of lacquer layers. Silver leaf adds metallic texture, while deep cool tones fade into a combination of beige and grey.
