These sculptures by Josefina Stagnaro were built with layers of paper and glue over a light armature to create the silhouettes. The material was then carved and sanded. Hand-cut paper elements were added to define the plumage and nest. Intended as a homage to nature, the work showcases the distinctive character of the species over anatomical precision.
