This sculpture by Junko Mori was crafted from mild steel. Through a hammering process, the material was shaped into a form that appears soft, moving and organic. Inspired by illustrations in Pinetum Woburnense (1839), the work is an ode to the artist's curiosity for the natural world, ignited by the discovery that pinecones grow in clusters.
