Blue Hatch Vase

This vase by Kazuhiro Toyama was created by applying metal ingots onto a steel frame. The plasma-cutting technique was self-developed by the artist. Rooted in an appreciation of the natural world and the cyclicity of life, the work draws inspiration from the motif of eggs hatching.
