Skynet Bracelet

Created for the exhibition Intelligenza Artificiale: Artifici Naturali, this sculptural electroformed silver bracelet fuses opal, larimar and quartz with plastic inserts. Inspired by Paolo Mangano’s passion for science fiction, the work evokes spaceships and old electronic boards, an artifact imagined as if Skynet, the artificial intelligence of the Terminator film saga, had created a piece of jewellery drawing on its own memory of the 1980s.
