This is a blown glass vessel with a softly tapering, upright form, cut with flowing, crosscut lines that move across its surface. Ethan Stern applies wheel cutting to carve undulating facets that bend and redirect light through the blue and violet body. Rather than sparkle, the surface produces a subdued, internal luminosity that shifts as the form turns.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
