Biography

This piece is an Amboyna burl spoon with a sharp, triangular bowl and fluid, ergonomic handle. It is band sawn then hand refined with knives and files. The mottled reddish-brown grain bridges art and utility, offering a sculptural form that fits perfectly in the hand.
