This Hardanger fiddle was created during Homo Faber Fellowship 2025/26 by luthier Wiebke Lüders based in Norway, and British fellow Naomi Soni. Although made according to tradition, this Hardanger fiddle has an unconventional design. Recurring organic patterns, reminiscent of a peacock, evoke nature and the movement of music. The use of gold accents aims to make this little-known folk instrument shine in a new light.
