Old man eyes

This is a rectangular mosaic panel, handcrafted using the direct technique with Venetian glass. At the centre, a fragment of a man’s face emerges from among dark elements arranged on different levels. The composition focuses the viewer’s gaze on the intense blue eyes, crafted with tiny tiles, resulting in a highly pictorial effect.
