A Flat Pleats vase

In this piece, the pleating effect is achieved through a signature style of brushing softwood combined with the use of Indian ink. Using a wire brush and traditional carving methods to accentuate the grain, the process creates a mesmerising illusion of infinite, fabric-like pleats within the wood.
