Braided sweetgrass with honeycomb
Inspired by a special gift of sweetgrass, this heavily beaded, encaustic-based panel was hand sewn and assembled with braided sweetgrass and porcupine quills before being placed in a honeybee hive, where thousands of bees added wild comb to its surface.
