My Nature III

This necklace is made from hanji, traditional Korean handmade paper, using the jiseung technique in which paper cords are twisted and woven. Individual units are designed in varied forms and arranged rhythmically. They are connected with the traditional Korean dorae knot, providing both structural stability and flexible movement. Finished with traditional rice paste rather than chemical coatings, the piece retains the natural texture and character of hanji.
