This necklace is made from hanji, traditional Korean handmade paper, using the jiseung technique in which twisted paper cords are woven to create structure. Its organic form suggests natural growth and movement. Finished with traditional rice paste rather than chemical coatings, the piece retains the natural texture and character of hanji.
