The Refined Society on the Edge of the Abyss

This dark blue flashed glass work was created for the 2014 Coburger Glass Prize and is inspired by Konstantin Wecker’s song. From this perspective, the vessel shows a table scene with animals representing distinct social traits, such as a vulture, lioness or hyena. The motif is sandblasted and engraved.
