Anatomy of a blooming beast

This is a ceramic sculpture of stacked ritual vessels forming a hybrid, vertebrate body. Part spine, part flowering stem, it features petals and thorns. Seven candles crown the structure. The piece was made by Mirka Drapaniotou and Fani Skoulikidi for the exhibition Chasing Chimeras.
