This ceramic sculpture is formed in a plaster mould using increment forming with black-stained Parian slip, built up layer by layer. Its elongated, curved shape stretches horizontally in a gentle arc with subtle rises and dips. Striated bands ripple across the matte black surface, framing recessed pools of silver-grey metallic glaze.
