Fractured vessels

These double-walled vessels resemble cracked stone slabs. Seemingly heavy, they are actually hollow. When inverted, the construction is revealed, giving insight into the illusion. In combination with vitreous enamel, the forms embody both rigid and plastic aspects of metal and ceramic, further confounding one's sense of materiality.
