Svaz Vishap rug

This rug presents Svaz Vishap, one of the distinctive forms of traditional Armenian Svaz embroidery. Inspired by Armenian carpet colours and ornamentation, it is worked on natural beige cotton with carefully counted stitches using French DMC threads. Combining Delkash, half-cross counted thread stitch oblique techniques, the composition reflects the harmony and ornamental richness of Armenian textile heritage.
