Winter Landscape

This sculpture's shape, structure and white colour resemble a snowdrift. The base is made by casting porcelain slip into a negative plaster mould. The fluffy snow texture on the surface is achieved through the meticulous technique of applying slip drop by drop with a rubber syringe.
