Coração

Kiln-formed in Czech glass using Désirée Sessegolo’s cellular glass fusing technique, this piece is built from hand-arranged glass fragments that fuse in the kiln until molten and caramel-like. As heat and gravity act on the material, it flows and stabilises around intentional voids, creating the porous, organic texture that defines her work. The resulting structure reveals light and shadow through its hollows, a heart rendered as both form and transparency.
