Sun rising over the meadows

This is a framed woven wall panel that conveys a sense of early morning. It is made from paper yarn, cotton, silk, linen, synthetic yarn and acrylic paint. The textile artwork features a white-ecru warp with vertical golden-yellow painted bands, crossed by horizontal weft bands that shift from brown through ochre to ecru. The weaving technique used includes twill and tabby weave patterns with multiple threads.
