Bloom, two vases

These two sculptural vases stand in a delicate balance as they lean on each other. There is a tension that exudes from them. Each one is modelled after the stem of a plant, which cannot stand on its own. A rather matte texture is achieved on the surface through subtle adjustments of the firing temperature.
