
This vase, approximately 40 cm tall, is inspired by budding white clovers. Hiroko Nakazato applies about 15 different slips to colour-block the surface before bisque firing, followed by an overglaze for the final firing. As the glaze melts, it blends with the slips beneath, creating a naturally intermingled palette of subtle shades across the surface.
