Mokuzai wooden board

This serving board was crafted from solid beech wood, and hand carved using traditional techniques with gouges and a mallet. It features two small, raised legs and an open section designed to integrate additional elements into the piece — in this case, a ceramic bowl that brings soy sauce closer to the maki rolls.
